Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup Duke's Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract
Directions
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar.
- Stir in buttermilk, mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, and almond extract until a smooth dough is formed.
- Using floured hands, gently form a large spoonful of dough into a triangular shape.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
