Ingredients
1lb fresh chicken wings
- ½ tbsp black pepper
- ½ tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
-
Duke’s Mississippi Comeback Sauce
- (optional) Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Directions
Start by laying your wings out on a baking sheet and let them sit, uncovered, in the fridge overnight. This step is technically optional, but letting your wings dry out a bit overnight will result in extra crispy wings that taste amazing
In a small bowl, combine the black pepper, kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder.
Season the wings generously on all sides with the seasoning mixture.
Fire up your grill to 400°F.
Place your wings directly on the grates and let them grill for about 7 minutes per side, or until they are crispy on both sides and reach an internal temperature of 180°F.
Remove your wings from the grill.
Pour the Mississippi Comeback sauce into a small bowl and dip each wing in the sauce until they are well-coated.
Finish them off with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
