Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 red onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup Duke’s Georgia Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce, divided
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk and 1/4 cup BBQ sauce in a large bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Gently mix with hands until mixture is fully combined
- do not overwork meat.
- Shape meat mixture into a loaf shape in a 9×13” baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then coat with remaining 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce. Return to oven and cook for another hour or until meatloaf has an internal temperature of 160°F.
