Girl Power Meets Mayo Love: Duke's Mayonnaise Teams Up with Charlotte-Based Girl Tribe Co. to Drop Limited-Edition Collection
RICHMOND, Va., March 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Duke's Mayonnaise has teamed up with Charlotte's women-owned clothing brand and boutique, Girl Tribe Co. for a flavor-packed partnership. Known for empowering women and championing local businesses, Girl Tribe Co. is dropping five exclusive, co-branded pieces on March 5 at 12 PM EST. What better way to celebrate girl power and North Carolina's favorite mayo!
Staying true to Girl Tribe Co.'s signature spirit and style, the Girl Tribe x Duke's Mayo collection will include a crewneck sweatshirt ($54), t-shirt ($38), trucker hat ($36), tote bag ($22) and sticker ($6). All items will be available to shop online, as well as its flagship store. Ten percent of the proceeds from the collaboration will benefit The Giving Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance for food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.
"The Girl Tribe x Duke's Mayo collection is a true passion project brought to life", says Co-Founder Sarah Baucom. "It may look like a non-serious collection, but in fact our love for Duke's is intensely serious. The little yellow jar has been present for many of our fondest memories and celebrations growing up in the south. We are so excited to bring our trendy designs to make this collab a dream come true for our fellow Duke's fans!".
The Girl Tribe Co. brand resonates most with women looking for places of connection and has become a local favorite for celebratory occasions. One of their largest product categories is their co-branded college merchandise. With Charlotte being home to both the Duke's Mayo Classic and Duke's Mayo Bowl, it only made sense for founders Carrie and Sarah to reach out to Duke's to collaborate. Just a mile and a half from Bank of America Stadium – where both games take place each year – Girl Tribe Co.'s Southend boutique has seen first-hand how passionate the Queen City is about Duke's. And with the upcoming 2025 Duke's Mayo Classic featuring two Carolina teams – UNC Charlotte 49ers vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers – they expect to see the sidewalks flooded with Girl Tribe Co. x Duke's Mayo merchandise this spring and summer ahead of highly-anticipated game on August 29.
"We're excited to team up with this celebrated clothing brand in a city that's full of energy, community, spirit, and has a deep love for Duke's," said Sarah DiPeppe, Digital Content Manager of Duke's Mayonnaise. "From college football to Hot Tomato Summer, Charlotte knows how to bring people together and this collab does just that – combining the love of mayo with style to create something all fans will enjoy."
The exclusive Girl Tribe Co. X Duke's Mayo collection will drop at noon EST on March 5. Girl Tribe is hosting a launch event at their brick-and-mortar store located at 1800 Camden Dr. Suite 102 Charlotte, NC 28203 on Saturday, March 8th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Duke's Mayo mascot, Tubby, will be in attendance to take photos with fans and hype up shoppers and Duke's-lovers alike.
