Ultimate Grilled Cheese
Is there anything more comforting than a grilled cheese sandwich? Use Duke's instead of butter on the outside of your grilled cheese for a perfectly crispy crust.
Bread of choice
Cheese of choice
Optional: grated parmesan, chopped herbs, and flaky salt for garnish
Grab two slices of your favorite bread (I prefer a wide pan bread, because the more melty cheese the better!)
Spread Duke’s Mayo edge to edge on one side of each slice of bread
Place first slice of bread (mayo side down) into a cold pan
Add about 1/4 cup each of freshly shredded cheeses (I used Havarti and sharp cheddar)
Place second piece of bread on top (mayo side up!) and don’t press the sandwich down….
Transfer to stovetop, cook on both sides on the lowest setting until golden brown and crisp (usually between 5-7 minutes per side, depending on your range) Flipping only once ensures the crispiest result!
If desired, serve garnished with fresh grated parmesan, chopped herbs, and flaky salt
